Hockley is just north-west of Birmingham city centre, beside the Jewellery Quarter, and about 6 miles from our garage in Northfield. Most Hockley customers come through or around the city centre and then down the A38 Bristol Road through Selly Oak, a journey of 25 to 30 minutes depending on time of day.

Hockley is a busy mix of workshops, small businesses and housing, and we see all sorts from there — work vans, family cars and older vehicles that have been looked after carefully. Tight streets and heavy traffic mean kerbed wheels, worn tyres and tired clutches are common, and we check for all of these as a matter of course.

Many Hockley customers come to us through recommendation or after an unsatisfactory experience elsewhere. The drive down to Northfield becomes routine once they discover our approach — no pressure, honest assessment, quality work.

If you can combine the trip with something else on the south side of the city, it is easy to drop the car with us in the morning and collect it later in the day.
