Hawkesley is roughly two miles south-east of our garage, on the southern edge of Birmingham between West Heath, Kings Norton and the countryside towards Wast Hills. The drive over is a local one — up through West Heath and into Northfield — and usually takes around ten minutes outside the rush hour, with no motorway or city-centre traffic involved.
